The Boermarke company had us revamp the system that prints the best-before date on its yoghurt desserts.
The filling line has a width of 8 positions. The chain on which the desserts are filled moves forward in steps. The downtime for filling and printing should be as short as possible. The trigger positions of the printer are therefore given very accurately and without delay. Using a DOP100 HMI, the different positions are cached .
The ASD-A2 Servo controls the movement of the print head and gives the print trigger at the right time, so that the date lands on the centre of the dessert. In a second machine, the system has been extended and only desserts approved on a tight seal are printed. A rejected product is not printed.
