To hit the nail on the head
A machine that allows different pallets to be made by a fully freely adjustable jig.
Servo drives take care of moving the X and Z axes. The machine is controlled with an AS228 PLC operated via an HMI for choosing the different jig in racks and nail positions of the pallets to be made.
Pallets up to 3 metres can be nailed together fully automatically. There are similar machines on the market but APC's nailing table has a table with a freely adjustable multi-function jig and 5 nailing machines, hammering nails from 30 to 90 mm into the wood. The X axis has a dual drive and the Y axis a single one.
